I got a tattoo for my debut book!

I have wanted to be a published author since I was twelve years old and I always said I would get a tattoo to commemorate publishing my debut book. So, with my first book coming out next year, I finally got the tattoo I've always wanted!

I went to the same artist who did my first tattoo because I love her style and I trusted her to do a good job. I was originally going to get the tattoo a little closer to my book's publication date in May 2025 but my tattoo artist is going on maternity leave in January so it was either get it now or wait a lot longer than I'd intended!

I am so happy with the final product! The book has twelve stars on it - the two bigger ones represent my main characters, Pandora and Epimetheus, and then there are ten additional stars for the rest of the Titan family. I also love how the stars come out of the open book - it looks reminiscent of everything coming out of Pandora's box on the front cover which I'm obsessed with.

I don't think I'll continue to get tattoos for future books I publish - because I hope I can publish many many books over the years! - but this one will always be special to me because it's my debut book.

Do you have any bookish tattoos?!
