I'm publishing my debut novel!!

It's finally time to share the news!!! My debut novel, The Age of Pandora, is coming May 2025!

I have dreamt of being a writer since I was eleven years old and, after finishing my first novel nearly ten years ago, I haven't stopped writing and dreaming and searching for the idea that would become my debut book.

During lockdown, I decided to write the book I've always wanted to read - a reimaging of the Greek myth Pandora's Box. I wanted to explore more about Pandora rather than just knowing her for opening a box - what does she think of the Gods? How does she feel being the first mortal woman? How does she feel about being engaged to the Titan Epimetheus? I got to explore all of that and more when writing her story on her terms.

The self-publishing journey has been so much fun. Sure, a little overwhelming at times, but I've learnt so much and developed a lot of confidence. Going into it, it can easily feel stressful because there's so much to think about - editing, book cover design, formatting, publishing platforms, marketing, etc. But, once you get the hang of it and put in plenty of research, it's empowering to know you have control of every single creative decision. You can create your book on your own terms and, as a chronic perfectionist and control freak, that was really comforting.

A cover reveal is also coming really really soon so keep your eyes peeled! @MadliArt has done an amazing job at bringing Pandora to life and I'm so excited to share it with you all!

Over the next few months, I'm doing the final checks on my book (making sure no pesky typos get through!) and I have lots of teasers and exciting pre-order campaign stuff planned. So stay tuned!!

So, what is The Age of Pandora about, you ask? Well, look no further...

Pandora has been trapped on Olympus her entire life, the first mortal woman and a possession of the Gods. Her dreams of freedom are shattered when Zeus engages her to the Titan Epimetheus, a death sentence to a helpless and weak mortal.

But a wedding is the least of Pandora’s concerns. Deadly rivalries lurk behind the guise of perfection.

The mortal realm is teetering on rebellion and the Titans have their own schemes that could threaten their fragile peace with the Gods. As Pandora plans her escape, she is thrown into a tangle of power and deception and every choice could seal her fate for better or worse.

Pandora wants her freedom, no matter the cost, but with a war brewing and the fate of the realm on her shoulders, is she willing to pay?
